Stop. They are NOT pioneers of Acai bowl - these shops are EVERYWHERE in Brazil and bowls/smoothies have been offered in America way before this business started.

Maybe you didnt catch the whole video but they literally talked about that, and said how their travels in central and south America got them hooked on ACAI bowls. They even mentioned how Acai is from Brazil and it wasnt something you find in the US they started working with distributors in Brazil to create their own company to import it into the US.

Why not start your own acai bowl store? Even in the description it says 'They decided to invest $7,000 into the business'. Don't pay royalty fees for something you can do yourself.

instead of owning one start one yourself! the amount you are willing to invest in their business cost half of the money you need to invest in one! you only need a shop, or a truck or cart, on a good location,the necessary equipment and good advertising, and you're ready to go! stop making others rich, work to make yourself rich! be smart people!

i talked to him briefly...they had a falling out basically and they bought him out and he took that money and started sweet berry bowls...i’m not sure how he’s doing now, because i used to talk to him at his location in montclair but that has been since closed, so i’m really not sure what he’s up to now

There's always hard work involved in a start-up, but it's not that impressive making this much money when you overcharge for your product. Nowadays people are becoming non-consumers so a product like this is the first to be taken out of one's budget.

I love playa bowls, but the one in Red Bank, NJ is adding too much granola to the bowl. I get one or two bowls in a week, but I am so disappointed, they look like granola bowls. Nothing like the pictures on the website.😔
