We're planning to turn our home into one long timeline with a ribbon near the ceiling : ) Thanks for the great ideas!

Thank you so much for this! You totally inspired me with your pretty antique map as a backdrop. We are going to paint watercolor "washes" on 11x17 watercolor paper and then I'll use masking tape on the back to tape the pages together in an accordion folding style. That way we can unfold as many sections as we want and have a solid timeline running down the hallway. Then we can just fold it up and put it away each day. Thank you!!!

Thanks, I've been wondering how I'd organize the kids notes, book reports and timelines over time. A timeline notebook is perfect to archive the kids reading and anything history related

I love your timeline with the antique looking world map. Can you share the dimensions? Such a great idea! Also, how often do you work on the time lines. It feels like a part of schooling difficult to get to due to the required time. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you. You have such great content and I always learn something from your channel. My timeline is Velcro(I bought Velcro tape from Walmart) and I put timeline pieces on Velcro and they can take the pieces off and on. I've also gone to a book of centuries for older kids and they are color coded so scientists in green, inventions in another color, plagues(my daughter was totally in plagues and epidemics) in black. I also don't have a lot of wall space and so the Velcro timeline goes down the hall and I can change the years out when we study something different.

Thank you for sharing this! I saw the break down for the years you did for the trifold timeline on the blog post but how did you break down the binder years on each tab? and how many tabs did you use?? I love the book of centuries with tabs! :)

What are the ranges of dates on each line for the trifold timeline? And the wall timeline?
