I just saw the S5 trailer. It was so good. I'm so stoked for it because it was definitely feening on Catradora redemption arc and also Magicat!Catra. And this amv just hits it more in the feels.

Really like the video however I dont ship it or rather its a ship that could have been but never will. Honestly Catras character is relly could but I absolutely hate her as a person like i get it the hord was her home but Adora gave her the chance to join her. It was Catra who decided to make Adora her enemy, Catra who isolated herself. Shadowweaver and hordac were seemingly the only abusers. Yet she chose to follow them sure eventually overthrew them but she blamed Adora for abandoning her to then when on the very first episode ( maybe second its been awhile ) when Adora make her debute as She ra she asks Catra to join her. Her spirl down into ashitty person began and she blamed everyone else. She even got scorpina(correct name?) To call her a terrible friend which sound fine but damn that scene had impact considering scorpina overly friend and childish character.

Catra deserves a seat at the table and a place to come back from the darkness. She was abused and tortured and tormented her entire life. Perhaps Shadow Weaver was jealous of Adora’s affection for Catra. But the fact remains that she’s in love with Adora. Adora is her family and her feelings towards Adora have clearly become romantic in nature. Adora loves Catra as her friend however the look of absolute gay panic when they catch eyes after running and holding hands in Promise and when she was on the ledge in Princess Prom clearly show that Adora’s feelings have steered towards romantic for Catra as well. What has happened between them so far is nothing more than the same amount of physical sparring and roughness they’re both used to. They’re soldiers. Raised to never show weakness. A bit of fighting here and there hasn’t had permanent damage yet. However yes they are going far past it being mutual rough housing when Catra left Adora to die and then exclaims she’s happy she didn’t in order to take her out herself. I think Adora understands it was from a bitter place but obviously it can’t continue if they ever want to get back together. One thing I’ll say for sure is that the last longing glance between them shows that both need to at least talk it out before it escalates any further. Catra wants a way back with Adora and Adora never wanted Catra as an enemy in the first place. I think she still feels strongly for Catra that she’ll forgive her. I hope she’s able to come back from her misdeeds and make things right. She still feels completely resentful that Adora up and left her without a second thought. I actually think it’ll take Adora going to Catra rather than the other way around if she wants to save her friend and yea if she goes to do this it’s definitely from a newfound romantic love for her. It’ll take a lot on Adora’s part to win back Catra’s trust. I’m just saying Princess Prom was the gayest thing ever and I’m totally hooked on these two working it out. (not my words)
