How Well can Ark Gravity 8 Baitcasting Reel Cast? This cast testing session will put the Ark Gravity Control Braking system to the test in seeing how well and easy lures casts. Overall I am really impressed and I can't wait to do some fishing to see how well it handle fish! And as mentioned, Skipping video to come when season comes!

I enjoy these cast testing videos of "new" braking systems. I didn't expect the ARK's Gravity Control Brake System to be on par with Daiwa's Magforce. But from your testing it looks like ARK has the advantage. Hopefully you'll get to pay with the Gravity 8 some more so we have a more definitive comparison of the 2 braking systems.

What I wanna see is Shimano expanding their reels to use their FTB system in bigger size reels. Imagine that! They would easily dominate the market as they got beginner friendly reels and advanced thumb masters

Well, after your recommendation and watching the videos, I ordered the ark gravity BFS last night.. got mad and beat my casting Zephyr on a fence post a few weeks ago😅😂

Was working perfectly about the fourth cast it overcast ,I got tangled up in a tree. It was weird one cast it worked good the next cast it would do something completely different. After a year of that I bashed it on my chain link fence post and threw in the trash 😎

@@DixieNormous1 lol.. If ur throwing light lures, it's certainly not consistent. It's made for A L or ML power rod. UL is popular for bfs, but not a reel for it! But u will find the Ark much better!

@@rawrfishing I think you’re right I upgraded the bearings with some on eBay but it was too inconsistent. Sometimes it would cast further than you thought and get hung up in a tree other times it would only cast 20 feet. My ark should be here next week.

Looks like you found it! I love Tatulas and all Daiwa reels! I assume that's an older model? That's a crazy price if it's 120 dollars.Try surfing www.digitaka.com for JDM stuff now while yen is down!

Those breaks look just like my haibo arise elite which is a bfs reel. I wonder if it just has enough settings to cover deep, medium and shallow spools. Great video man, keep up the good work.

Yes, ark shared their braking system with Haibo since they are their manufacturing company. That made Haibo a lot better! It be cool to see them with many more different reel with different spool sizes!

Don't have the alphas air. So no comparison! I have the alphas air tw tho, but we can't compare it either as this isn't a bfs reel

Sorry Shimano... Ark wins for me. There's no size 28mm spool reels that can beat the Ark Gravity bfs out of the box

Most anglers will be 2. 3 for beginners. 1 for low power casters!

Recently my academy premiere baitcaster went from can do any lure to strictly spinnerbait only with a year. Not a beginner but hard to tell with how my first baitcaster reel is doing.

Is there slop in the handle or in the gearing? Kind of noticed something like that on the retrieve. Great video!

So there's two parts here that I feel. First, There is a micro chop, larger than Japanese reels, but acceptable in my opinion. Then, I feel that the reel handle seems easier to bend and flex than my other reels. I wonder how this will behave when I got a fish and I am reeling under pressure!
