He was hired for a specific style of play. The players could not play that style, they confirmed it to him and he played the style that his players felt comfortable and best suited them. How is that being a horrible manager? He adapted to the strengths of his players and staff staying up as opposed to going down with his desired style. That's excellent managing. That is poor front office decisions to bring in a manager that did not suite the talent on the team.

He's basically just told everyone, the team they had wasn't good enough to play actual football! It's not about styles of play. The keeper smashing it out every time he gets the ball is not football, it's hit and hope. Pray that one of ur players getting it or the second ball at least! That's not football man. Fs. Rolling it to ur defender and pass it back and forward -- side to side, to draw in the opposition, that creates space behind them that the wingers or forwards exploit by make runs into or passing thru! It's simple really. Making a pass forward from ur CB to ur CDM draws one of there AM to them. That leaves a gap. This gap is where u can then pass it back to the opposite CB and quickly thru the lines to that space for ur MF to exploit. Or, ur CDM plays sideways to ur WB so he can then play thru the lines into the same space for ur MF to then do the same thing again. Look to make that space.... so ur False9 comes in abit drags their CB outta position and quickly collects a pass from our player in possession in the MF, dink's it quickly out to the 2nd ST or LW or RW they then pass thru the space that their CB left and our 'Spare Man' (that's gonna be either the ST,LW or RW) collects it most likely inside their box and has a 1on1 with the keeper or.... if ur team is well drilled and keeping up with play?? ur players that r not in that sequence of play will 'and should' also be able to 'judge' if they can push up with that move and assist in the attack if needed. It all sounds alot, but well drilled on the training ground, it will and for "PREM" players really 'should' become second nature. It's the possession game basics. Keeping the ball, and colouring space but not by luck, by movement of their players and then pouncing on that! Give me a call Chelsea, we can sort something out I'm sure!!! 😂😂😂💯👌🏻
