I don’t think Henry is the problem I think it’s the players’ confidence. Galway hurling and Galway club hurling is one of the best standards in the country, Yet they behave as if they don’t want a win or to try hard. Lack of heart and effort and low self esteem, Henry clearly frustrated as he knows the team is way better than they played against Kilkenny and cork

If its divided by 4 it should be much easier to have a full house with 4 counties playing. I think it's more the fact that game is on Saturday , lack of confidence by supporters in their teams and overall hurling is a tough watch these days. It's got very physical , possession is king and a very defensive approach to the game. Hurling is not the open attacking game it used to be.

Usually 50% of fans shouting for one team, 50% shouting for the the other. With a double header you have 25% for one and 25% for the other and 50% with no vested interest in the game e.g. 50% of the crowd for the Clare v Wexford game were from Galway or Cork. 25% = 100%/4 hence, "divided by 4".

When you get clear-cut chances and miss them it is down more to the player themselves. SO IMHO while both of the Recks did well if was a horrorshow from Clare. They were very predictable in the way they played out of the back. It was only when they started to carry from the half back did they shut wexford down. Clare had more to come in from the bench that Wexford.
