How/Where to Find Durin's Axe Fragments - Lotr: Return to Moria

stuck spent an hour looking for axe pieces we're missing 1 theres no way to check which your missing. blue icons appear on some maps and not others. or appear in the world but unable to tell which area/direction they are in :( sad was getting into it

You can see your progress. Just go into the goals tab and then to durins axe. And you'll see the parts you've collected.

im just not able to find any sun stones. is there a way to farm them precisely ?

Deepest mines in dwarrowdelf if you want it earlier. But once you get to last zone you'll see them on the walls.

i find it amazing somehow that he built the first camp exactly where and how i did mine. same walls and door i mean.

Really wished durins axe made you immune to the shadow, it's utility is really hampered for not. Quarrymaster is just the best for solo play.

Agreed! The Durin’s armor is the only thing that helps with shadow but it doesn’t make you immune.

My Fragment 2 is not in Orc Town. It is showing up off the map behind the second great forge, but you cannot get there... Anyone having this issue...

@@blakebeast1936 It looks like you may have to search on the Dwarrowdele level. I have found several more ORC bases on this level just like the original one on The Lower Deeps Level where fragment 2 use to be.😧

@@zeroyum1473 thx for getting back to me. cleared dwarrowdele found 2 frags four and five. it did have two orctowns in it but only 1 had an axe frag.

I had hoped that the game would open up even more after we defeat the final boss . . . Alas that is not the case. The durin's lamps do not work and the mine shafts have next to nothing in them worth your time, except the Mithril.

Hello, I'm looking for the 4th fragment of Durin's axe. I've found the room with the quest marker but I can't find the fragment. It's in a mini-dwarf village with some brewing vats that need repairing. I've broken a lot of houses to collect stones and ironwood. Do you think I could have destroyed the fragmentation? Has anyone had this problem before? thanks for your help

@allthingsmiddleearth yes, the problem I'm having is a whole part of the map for the first area just never generated. Also the blue search area never showed up after reading the book and notes.

What do you play one I can help you, I suggest checking every lil passage way the ones that are smaller with the statues I found mine past a purple area in one of those smaller shafts for whatever reason I thought that the purple you couldn’t cross at all until I finally realized you can build over it.

Strange - i thought the maps would be MUCH more random. For me there´s NO change when i start a new game. And that made me think, i would get a more concrete help here.

There's definitely some parts of the map that are the same on each run, but those parts are interspersed with other parts that are procedurally generated. I've done 4 runs now, 3 solo, 1 in co-op. None of them were exactly the same. The parts that are the same every run, such Durin's Highway, are important lore landmarks. Or the Bridge of Khazad-Dum, another important lore landmark. You can't randomly generate those and still stay accurate to the lore, which is what this game for the most part does.

I find it odd they'll show you the search area for durin axe but not for the dragon hoard it's infuriating!

Looked for the first fragment- nothing. Constant dinging says where it is, nothing. Gave up and looked at a walkthrough. It said was an obvious red handle sticking out of a wall. Nope. Came here. Guy talked endlessly about irrelevant shit. Flicked through looking for where he actually says where they are. Gave up. Leaving.

It's probably down a different path than the one you were trying. likely a branching path that leads around the back.

If you or anyone else are still looking, I found it in the building literally right across the hall from where you have to setup the first camp. I have no idea why the blue marker was so far away.
