I really really really hope Jae can be a dad, but I’m so worried for him if he does become one... I think Day6 has a lot more international fans that are more open minded, but remember they are a Kpop band. Koreans are their target audience and I just don’t want another Chen situation...
@anelie63204 жыл бұрын
I hope someday they'll realize that idols are humans too 😞
@yadiraa69944 жыл бұрын
Honestly Day6’s fans are more mature and they’ve been in kpop for the longest I don’t think it would be an issue in korea. And if they don’t accept it we international fans are GOING TO MAKE THEM ACCEPT IT WHETHER THEY LIKE IT OR NOT ☺️
@xfairyres4 жыл бұрын
I hope because chen situation will slowly change kfans mindset
@shes_a_pandora1484 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure MyDay won't be like that. MyDay is a bit different. I mean the reason we are stanning Day6 is because of their music, personalities, and "that connection" between them and MyDay. Not that kind of affection of having them to be like forever ours, I mean like those possessive actions? Well but Ikr what u're afraid of.. Let's hope that's not gonna happen!✌
@anisa39624 жыл бұрын
For real I don't really think they should be held accountable for wanting to be happy, it's sad that it needs to be spelled out that the fans should adjust to it and be mature enough to realize they can't control someone they claim to admire ? There is no pleasing everybody so idols should just do what they want.

Some things to ponder: It's a fact: Not only for Asian-American parents but also even for native Asian parents to "guide" you what kind of career you "have" to take. And I believe what Jae said. You can't really reach "that" goal if you know that you are not interested with it. And also, looks like PD Diane and I share a lot in common. Cheers to you!

I swear I'm gonna cut all the parts where Jae's saying 'interesting', make a sort of ringtone and play it every time I'm talking to myself out loud. It's been more than a month since the real quarantine in my region began and I live alone, my family and friends are in another city. Except for texting, skyping (for work) and sometimes phoning I don't have other human interactions. So, myself has been a huge comfort. Also, podcasts create a feeling of not being alone. Usually talking to yourself is considered as a sign of mental illness, but I found an article that said it may be 'a sign of higher intelligence'. It's actually also a great topic to cover in the podcast. Anyway, I'm off to listen to the whole episode...

when it comes to parenting, i think the key element is communication. i grew up telling my mum everything without getting judgement in return, only understanding and (when needed) lecturing. talk to your kid about everything from their interests to yours, to what's right and wrong, problems, dilemmas, curiosities, even daily nothings. that way you develop both healthy authoritative boundaries that they're aware of and understand, as well as a tight friendship where you can actually share personal things with your parents.
