Loved the video. Very informative and also motivating in a way. As an actor/writer myself living in a LA for 3 years now it seems like every year there’s something new happening that somehow negatively affects the film/tv industry. I agree with most of what you said regarding what the future looks like in the film/tv industry but I’m hopeful and believe LA can bounce back pretty quickly and seeking & giving opportunities to newer/unknown actors at a higher rate. To be honest, the place was going through a 'mini depression' because of the mass exodus that went on for months. Companies pulled out of the place and plunged it into ''darkness'. It was a long slow progress and the fires sort of helped speed up the process. They didn't start the problem, but they sort of helped highlight a long running series of problems that has been hidden for months. Who knows what will happen now, but it will certainly change the dynamics, since the power play will shift for a while. While Hollywood is out, the other regions will rise.

I live in the Bay Area… so seeing this happen in my state - distance aside - is disheartening to see. Know people personally who lost their homes. I will say… we’re probably gonna see more movies/shows filmed outside of LA. Pretty common misnomer that everything is made in Southern California. Cause I found out years ago, most productions are filmed either Northern California, Atlanta, New Orleans, Toronto (just to name a few). Hoping not, but that might be the case so the city can rebuild.

💧💧Water💧💧 I actually found your fifth prediction (I think. Correct me if I’m wrong) about new voices and writers and artists rising very interesting. And I’ve been noticing that already happening over here on KZbin. And when you mentioned KZbin being number one when it comes to streaming, that just boosted the signs. I’m gonna go into the topic of animation for a bit. But KZbin creators such as indie animators or writers have been rising since the fires started. (Or I have noticed that it has) I know Netflix just accepted a KZbin animation series into their platform, due to its popularity. They don’t own it, they have partnered with the original writer to stream it on Netflix, but they have no say or power to change it. Just show it. Slowly (since Netflix is the second to do this. Prime is the first) I think Hollywood streaming services may look at creators and writers on KZbin to see what they are working on. What they are doing. And they might get inspiration or they may reach out and partner. That is my prediction of it. That indie content or live action content that is becoming popular on KZbin will rise. I know that one of the indie animation channels glitch productions is starting a new series and that series is being written by someone who worked at Disney who created the owl house. And many were surprised. So slowly I believe writers are gonna look around on KZbin and maybe partner with whoever they find. That being said, there’s a saying I heard going around that KZbin will become the next “Hollywood”. Not sure if I believe that myself yet. But it’s starting to become a possibility. I’m glad that you are doing okay and Safe Makayla. I pray and think about those who have been affected. And hopefully things will go up again. 🌸✨

I was thinking about you and your loved ones. I have a few friends in LA, but they live far from the fires. One works as a Background Actor, but has other jobs and he's been keeping me updated. The rest have been filming as BG actors inside the studios due to the smoke. Praying for those that lost their homes and lives, including the animals. I'm a big animal lover and shared some horse rescue info and donated to Pasadena Humane society. I hope evil companies don't take advantage and try to buy properties to rent out or sell for even more money. We saw that in Puerto Rico and Hawaii, and wouldn't be surprised if they're doing that in North Carolina affected areas by Helene.
