It is impossible to combat lust, sensual arousal, sexual temptations. Like the body need food, it needs to fulfill its genetic code of reproduction. You can only completely detach yourself from all similar thinking, thoughts, and inducing activities. Like a form of intoxication, once is compromised by the factor the subject will experince until an end. Thanks for the video, very meaningful. Just like quitting any other mind altering substances, you would have to live a lifestyle of abstinence from medias, and all other inducing factors which can trigger the release of these hormones in your body.

Well, it is possible. Here's how I'm following it and it's my own psychological studies so I can't guarantee that it will work for u as well. But i wish it may help u. It is possible if you are able to push ur lustful thoughts or desires deep into the sub-conscious state of ur mind, and further into unconscious. How? Initially it will trouble u a lot, it(ur conscious mind) will ask for it(whatever ur addition is) but u have to distance urself from all those thoughts by considering them(ur thoughts) as alien thoughts. In these initial days u should dive into deeper meditation, physical workout, identifying and avoiding trigger points, and express ur feelings with someone(best option - Mom) or u can record a video of urself every night before going to sleep on successfully avoiding that desire. Later when you're able to push those thoughts into sub-conscious, it will not stop coming but the frequency would be reduced. So continue till it reaches the unconscious state of mind. How u will able to know all this? Well, you'll know once u start. How can u except a result without performing the duty? Right? My status? Let me be very honest, I'm able to send my lustful desires into the sub-conscious state. Strongly disagree. God has given us a life where we get a choose our path. One who believes in this "Govinda iccha" will always find an easy excuse to blame the god for one's own lust. If it is really Govind iccha, then there is no meaning to one's own effort to end lust. If everyone believes in this, nobody would even try to overcome their lust. The whole concept of karma emphasizes that our life is our creation. Our life is our own responsibility. God has designed the system of Karma so that we understand we are responsible for everything in our life. This idea of Govinda iccha is totally contrary to karma. If someone's lust can be ended by god's will, then it also means someone is lustful because of god's will? Does that make any sense? What are we then? Puppets? What is our role in our own life? Has God not given us any free will? End of lust requires saadhana. It requires effort. Not an approval from God. One needs to realise that lust is creating negative energies and taking life downwards. Upon this realisation, one can find a divine purpose and be completely dedicated towards it, so that there is no place left for lust in a divine environment.

@@vrajendrakrishnadas605 there was no mention of our endevour. He clearly mentions it's "impossible" to overcome lust. The only way possible is "Govind iccha". Atleast that's what it sounds like. He made it clearly sound like individual effort has no meaning. With that vague example of someone doing intense tapasya underwater and seeing two fishes come together. I don't know whether the way he said it was not clear enough, or whether i misinterpreted. Anyone who misinterprets this will get it completely wrong. I feel it is demeaning lord krishna. Because it is clearly not mentioned like this in any scriptures. Not even in Gita. Just a made up idea which was poorly thought of. Therefore i can discard this idea or disagree with it. But for an average educated individual who is not aware of the scriptures from Sanatana dharma, will find it silly. Discoursing such ambiguous ideas can be a digrace to our Sanatana Dharma and lord Krishna
