I've been an avid follower for so many years now I can't remember how many. I've thoroughly enjoyed all of your original 4Max videos and in fact you are the one that convinced me to spend a month's rent plus grocery money on my 4max. Holy Crap! Now I need one. I have the AD10 that I carry a lot. I also have the 4max scout and the 5.5 inch voyager. The handles on the 4max scout and AD10 are tougher than the voyager. The 5.5 voyager is easier to carry than the 4max scout.

Yes i have a Scout. But 1. it's not really comparable wit the "Original" (screws, steel, handlescales, spring) and 2nd mine do have a problem because it does not close the lock properly when opened onehanded with the thumbstuds.

Was hoping 5 max would have 6mm blade stock.. Looks like the same 4.8mm as the 4 max.. The Spartan seems like a really good compromise between the 4 max and 5 max for EDC and self defense. Voyager XL still the budget king and 5.5 inches

the five max looks like the next knife to buy - we have to see torture test on it first to see the composition of the steel first but if its as good as the four max - then its a must buy - an extra inch is always welcomed - i wonder what the price could be for the GSM version - i hope the handle is simple like the four max - just black
