If I was Sammy, Charles is holding the drop for hope. Chase is holding the drop for obed vs Afghanistan. Why?? Because there is no dangerous left hand bat in the afghan line up so no need for chase, obed will be more suited to the flatter track of st.Lucia. Hope well, if he scores 15 runs of 10 I would keep him in the team for the rest of the games, why? Because 15 off 10 is better than Charles facing the first over and getting castled all over the place putting everybody else under pressure to score in the power play. For the South Africa game chase has to play because of the left hand batters they have, for the England game obed has to play because the English batters like pace on the ball. Simple as that! Also farooqi is basically like a Trent boult so Charles will be cooked either way! Also letting Charles face first up to boult in the NZ game was a low IQ move. King has a better technique he should have faced first up.

As long as we beat USA and compete against both SA and ENG I'd deem it a 'good' World Cup. However, I do genuinely believe we can beat either if not both SA or ENG
