Very interesting. I think this is good advice. I’m still getting to know Win Reality. Since I coach softball, I’ve only ever played it that mode. I’m really struggling to see well enough to have any consistency. I wear progressive lens glasses and trying to use them inside the headset is difficult because I have to adjust the headset so frequently to try and pinpoint a clear view. Even then I’d say I’m only seeing with about 80 percent clarity. I know there are companies that make lens for the Quest headsets, but I want to go to the eye doctor and see if my prescription needs updated. Even then, I’m not sure how effective progressive lens custom made for the Quest will work. I mostly go without my glasses now to save myself the adjustment hassle, but I’m not really seeing good. Secondly, I’m having trouble finding the right spot in the house to swing the bat comfortably with fear of doing any more damage. True story… I thought I had found the right spot in the living room, I had played in there a couple days and was confident I had a decent amount of room. One day I was playing in one of those challenges you were talking about. I don’t remember the exact count, but I know I had two strikes on me. The pitch kind of fooled me, it was down and away and I didn’t want to get rung up, so I kind of just swung the bat to foul the pitch off. Since the pitch was low, my swing wasn’t level at all and I ended up pulling my top hand off the bat around contact, but continued my swing. As I moved the bat around at an upward angle and was at my peak or close to it, I heard a crash behind me, then stuff hitting the floor. My bat had struck one of the glass light fixtures on the ceiling fan. Terrible! There was glass everywhere, from tiny shards to big pieces. Some even on furniture. That was probably about four months ago and I haven’t picked up the Quest since then. I was kind of hoping my wife wouldn’t notice the missing fixture (the bulb was still in tact), but I think she did the next day.
