maybe you should do a wondagurl x eestbound loop kit of her old style (tre capital's gundam part 1 & 2 style) and a mix of her new style (example song we are not alone song is straight flames) this tutorial is fire asf by the way

This is like the first video that I’ve seen someone actually nail a wondagurl type production. All the ones I saw before this one people just over saturated the 808 slides and drums, which in all reality it didn’t sound right.

I need help because I’ve heard by multiple producers to take off the limiter but then I heard some producers say to leave it on? With me the limiter makes it sound a little better but idk lol. Anyone know more about this?
@KyleStembergerMusic5 жыл бұрын
pizzagxd it depends on the settings you use with it and how the mix sounds before hand. I never use it because I hate that over compressed sound it gives the beat. at the end of the day theirs are no “rules” to anything, do what sounds good to you

Tbh i think slicing samples is getting kinda annoying, and everybody does it now. I think these samples are that good, that they should be left as they are. Great quality !
@mxn3y5 жыл бұрын
we do that just to change something in the loops so we're not just adding drums, but idk why they be doing it to there own samples?
@Cuzco5 жыл бұрын
808 MONEY ye i know what you mean, though like i think everyone at some point should be using their own samples. Thats how you get unique, and you dont have to deal with no clearing samples shit and so.

Luis Dominguez but imo, its completely different when you chop a sample in MPC 2000xl for ex. Than choppin it in fruity slicer. MPC can give it a completely different vibe, its just much better cuz u can control the start point and end point, and it doesnt sound so complex, cuz in fruity slicer it kinda does imo.
