Wonder is one of my favourite books ever. I teach it every year to my 10-12 year old students, such a beautiful story on empathy and acceptance.

Same, that and Auggie and Me (a companion to wonder, as Palacio worded it). One thing I especially love about Wonder is that even if it’s marketed towards kids, it’s just as enjoyable for adults to read as well, and that’s pretty rare in a book.

I’m looking at the picture for this video and thinking, “How can anyone not love that little face?!!!” His eyes are beautiful!

I hope this wonderful author will eventually write a follow up book about Auggie after he’s grown up. I sooo want to see him become an astronaut, have lots of friends, and have a girlfriend or wife. 😁

It took only *four* hours to read this. 10/10 and I'm gonna rent the movie soon.

I like the book a little more just because they have more details and have more chapters and stuff. I wish that there was a julian chapter though. I want to see his backround story. Other than that i think you did a great job on the book and the person who made the movie did a great job too! Have a good day!

I think there is, but another book she wrote. It’s called: Julian’s Chapter. I’m not quite sure if that’s the name but I’ve seen it before.

There *is* a Julian Chapter, actually (called The Julian Chapter), I’m pretty sure it was first published as a short E-Book, but now you can buy it as a book featured in Auggie and Me (which has the perspectives of Julian, Christopher, Auggie’s oldest friend, and Charlotte) :)

@@alfieeexx It’s pretty close to the actual name. It’s called “The Julian Chapter”

The forest chapter in the book was so much darker than the film you could tell Eddie was really going to hurt Auggie if they didn’t manage to get away in the movie all he really does is push him and then gets distracted by Amos in the book while he doesn’t push him he continuously stops he and Jack from getting past and when Jack is on the ground Auggie tries to make a plea of peace and Eddie says he doesn’t wanna mess with him then as Auggie tries to pass he grabs him by the hood so hard it throws him to the ground and when he begins to run he was trying to pull him back by his sleeve he very clearly wasn’t going to insult him some more he was going to beat him up which is really dark not only for a children’s book but the fact he was going to attack someone so much younger than him simply for his facial deformity
