A thousand times yes - this is best comment so far. I fully support building Amravati but all the plans I have seen shows it being spread out and dependent on cars. If the city is much more densified, it will be cheaper to build, the population will be healthier and the overall quality of life will be higher.

For example, the densest part of Amaravati, SEED Development with a population of 300,000, is expected to have density of 17-18,000 per km2. In Barcelona, the Eixample district also has a population nearing 300, 000 but the density is 35,000 per km2. In Paris, the 11th arrondissement has a density of 38, 851.

As we know Bangalore is facing a huge water crisis and Bangalore traffic is something we all know of + Amravati is developing as a capital city and have a good port and air connectivity so investment is bound to come. It is very good that new government will restart the capital reconstruction project. But AP citizens should understand that it will take atleast 10 years or even more for the city to get completed with minimum government buildings. Rest of private investment will take much longer. So we cannot expect immediate miracles to happen. It will be work in progress for some time. But it is good for AP that they finally have their capital city.🙏

This is one of the toughest times to be a CM for AP. The Amaravati which became a ghost town and Polavaram project which is in a bad position are in desperate need of funds and government's atmost attention because of the jagan's idiotic regime. Although,TDP is a key member in NDA, I hope our state gets enough funds for both the projects and will be finished in the coming future.

He demolished your house and digged for basement then he say that he can't constrruct this apartment. In this story farmers are land owner who lost his house and developer is government who cheated

It was the farmers of amaravti and surrounding areas who voted jagan out of greed in 2019 and they deserved it. i have relatives in those areas and i saw it with my eyes especially ladies from reddy community than men. didnt know their foolishness level untill that.they were on roads on each rally of ycp. i have never seen foolish people than these farmers. for sure even in 2024 also these people voted ycp only. virus some of these people are.

Then how would you expect the development to progress with IT infrastructure and employment. Now the cities which we see have gone through this phase one way or the other and now are in commandong position. This is not foolishness of people but sacrifice for their toddlers and future generations. In simple words if there is no IT company there is no job and can't even construct qualitative roads. We can't build company without land if I'm not wrong.

2014 to 2019 in his first tenure it took 2 years for Naidu for acquiring land , getting plans from various international companies then go for architecture buildings then it started with transit buildings or interim government buildings he has done in last 2 years. This tenure he has everything center support land support everything he will complete administrative city and center will notify amaravati as capital on floor of parliament..

It’s no brainer - Any city Vizag, Vijayawada, and Guntur are logically cheaper to develop in to a capital. It took 60 years for Chandigarh to become what it is now despite very close to Delhi and Noida. Andhra has nothing compared to Chandigarh which is a also joint capital of Haryana and Punjab. It’s extremely hard and illogical to make Amaravati the Capital of Andhra when the funds are low. Stupid Babu and Co. Made a circus out of this topic.

@@YT_C9 if you have brain you must know Amaravathi is The center point of Guntur and Vijayawada and mangalagiri,and any capital city is home to almost 150 department offices Legislatives And Assembly and Counsil buildings and Employee housing quarters where easily 35000 people must reside. As per KCR gorretoka comments, Telugu states revenue is increased almost 10 times, 30% poverty (పేదరికం) removed only by TDP leaders 20 years power, hardwork with NTR, BABU leadership, support, vision. All other CMs just used that TDP generated money, extended welfare schemes and continued the state developments started by TDP developments (except Jaggu) but they are able to remove poverty around 10% only even though they rule for 55 years. So, It may take 10 to 15 years oe more, but only TDP can help many poor families to rich by helping with different earning opportunities, jobs. Few people who don't work hard to enjoy freebies, or biased by casts, religion etc..may still argue. But TRUTH prevails.

1. Amaravathi capital area is located below the krishna river water level. If more water comes from nagarjuna sagar dam or rain and river bed breaks it will flood the area 2. The Amaravathi capital area sand is not suitable for high rise buildings . Even for small building 30 feet foundation with cement has to be done like present temperory secratriat construction . The cost is high for buildings 3. The Amaravathi capital area farmers are more kamma caste ( oc agriculture caste of chandrababu naidu) who are supporters of Telugu desam party. Out of 33000 acres by 23000 farmers, there are about 4000 kamma farmers given 18000 acres to land pooling. The farmers gave land for landpooling not for landacquisition means for each acre they get 1/4 developed land back ( with road, power etc by govt money) and will get annuity of 50000 per acre per year for 10 years and no capital gain tax in case they sell land. The 1 lakh farm laborers lost their farm jobs and left for job search and these laborers are getting paid 2500 per month for 10 years. 4. Before annoucement TDP party men purchased land in the benami names of white ration card holders ( BPL) . All these BPL owners are going to be jailed per modi's benami act . 5. Some of the TDP leaders and party men purchased land of sc/st land from sc/st for cheap price and they issued a GO allowing the sc/st land for land pooling ( sc/st land is not for sale not allowed per supreme court) 6. Till now andhra pradesh govt not given capital notification GO or gazetter notification because per state reorganization act of ap hyderabad is common capital for 10 years. Till 2024 all capitals of ap are temperory ( legally) and all govt documents go has capital as hyderabad and temperory capital address as amaravathi interim complex. 7. Per landpool agreement chandrababu naidu has to give developed land to farmers by 2016 which he is not able to do due to finance issues . 8. Ap govt is using the coin of 3 capitals just to avoid the legal issues will be filed by capital change by the chandrababu naidu.

LOL. My apartment complex has more buildings than Amaravati😂😂. It’s strange how little Chandrababu and Co. Did to Amaravati after spending thousands of crores between 2014-2019. They last one flopped hard but thankfully it was only private money. Every city in India is expanding and has its own issues. Modern or ancient - it is modern cities like Mumbai, Chennai developed by the British which flood first - not Ancient metros like Vadodara, Varanasi or Madurai. Amravati is based in an already designated flood plain! It is a worse site than Guntur or Vijayawada which already exist and have existed for more than a 2000yrs. If Andhra people can't take care and develop their existing cities that are crumbling, littered with garbage and with zero civic infrastructure then the fantasy of building a "new city" is just a gimmick and a vanity project to make money for real estate companies- not a genuine attempt at good governance or developing Andhra Pradesh. Ambition is not the issue, it is the question of your ability which is lacking and reckless gambles of a poor state with the LOWEST GDP among the South Indian 5 states shows that your ego is clouding your judgement. First demonstrate you can run your existing cities properly without people fleeing to Hyderabad, Bengaluru and other cities, then perhaps it would make some sense to even contemplate a "new city". Ego and vanity projects are the TDPs forte - unfortunately that is a luxury of a rich state, not something poor states can afford.
