My parents took me on holiday to a Spanish island around ‘91 or ‘92. The first two video games I ever played in my life happened in an arcade there. The games were Street Fighter 2 and Wrestlefest. A lifelong love began as a result.

Loved playing this game during the summer at Coney Island back in the day! Never got too far in the game back then, but I still had a blast with it.

One of the best arcade games ever made. I had to stand in a shopping cart to reach the joystick and buttons when it came out. It was one of the most popular games at our local arcade. The taunts, unique move sets for each character, signature and finishing moves as well as double team moves made this game superior to the console wrestling games of the time. There's an arcade one hour from my place that currently has WrestleFest and when I visit the city I like to go in and have a few games.

I've always loved this game. I used to play it constantly in the local arcade. I was overjoyed when I came across the emulation file! It's still an absolute joy to play! For me, this is the best wrestling game ever made and I'll always love it!

Wrestlefest was one of my absolute favs! We had one in the CVS near our house. Lot of good memories playing Royal Rumble matches. I liked Warrior and Million Dollar Man in Tag Mode. Good times.

I remember asking my mother for quarters to play Wrestlefest at a local Fred Meyer store in Portland while she shopped, and with the dollar I got, I was able to win the Royal Rumble playing as Hulk Hogan. It was a magical time to be alive.

Game is legendary the corner store around the block from my childhood home had this game and I spent so much time and money in there on this one..There would be small crowds of kids around the machine and we’d bet quarters on matches and winner kept the controls until he lost..Great memories of a great game

Corner store had Street Fighter 2 CE and Wrestlefest. Those 2 games were magic. Wish someone would hack Wrestlefest and add in Randy Savage, Zeus, Rick Rude, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Rowdy Piper, Dusty Rhodes, Akeem, British Bulldog, Brutus the Barber, Honky Tonk Man, King Kong Buddy & Greg Valentine. Win the Royal Rumble and you face Andre The Giant in a cage for the WWF championship. Win the WWF tag belts against LoD and you face Honky Tonk Man & The Hammer. Next you’d face The Twin Towers: Bossman & Akeem followed by the team of Savage & Zeus and finally a cage match against The Mega Bucks: Andre & Dibiase

I know I can emulate it, just never played it. I should. I DID see either a Wrestlefest cab or conversion cab at a thrift store/pawn shop in Charlottetown. It really caught my eye. I think for me the first wrestling game I enjoyed was Raw on Genesis. I know, Acclaim, and yes, the engine was used before, but I really liked that game. I would borrow it from a friend many times and loved putting the boots to the ref. Great game

I remember playing this in the waiting area for some restaurant in the mall all the time. I hope there is an FPGA core created for this soon. I still have my PC for my arcade but I kinda prefer to use the Mister I recently bought.

WrestleFest would be a good add for Arcade1up if they can get back the original roster. But just pairing it with Superstars wouldn't be enough, I think they need to work a bit harder and also have a rework of WWE No Mercy included as the third game and include online play. They can utilize and retool the CAW features to customize some modern stars into the game to give the Arcade1up product a more wide range appeal among us WrestleFest fans and the more modern WWE fan. We've seen just how great a rom hack of No Mercy can be in "WWF Legends" with just one or two people doing most of the work, just think if there was a small team working on an enhanced and licensed version of "No Mercy Legends" to be included on the Arcade1up (maybe they could even reach out to the "WWF Legends" team to get paid for their familiarity on this project).

at the arcade I would play till the title match with LOD...then hop over to the player 3 or 4 controller..put in more quarters and take over as the LOD... SAD can't do it on emulation...
