Poor buggers, imagine the slow agonizing crawl to a miserable end. Thank you Douglas Murray for bringing it to light 🙏
@manusha13495 ай бұрын
Honest question, why do you say 'poor buggers' when they're mentally normal adults, choosing to do this to themselves?

This is hard to watch, but it's absolutely necessary to bring more awareness...Thank you for a great documentary into the reality of fetanyl. I hope it serves as a wake up call for those in denial.

That's scary sh*t!. I was exposed to all the 1970-80s stuff at parties and such but never went beyond beers. Perhaps teenagers should spend an afternoon checking out the abscesses and flesh eating wounds.

Thank you Mr Murray. You are a true humanitarian. This is a nightmare. Surely - hopefully?- some good will come from your genuine concern, and your efforts to expose the public to the reality of this horrific nightmare.

For the love of God Douglas stop putting orange borders around your thumbnails. The way you tell if you’ve already watched something on KZbin is if you have, there is a red line at the bottom of the thumbnail. When you put an orange border around it , the border blocks it out. Don’t take this the wrong way dear boy I love your voice. But I’m tired of listening to 10 to 15 minutes of a video just to say to myself “shit I’ve already heard this!!!”
@lacross27592 ай бұрын
Seriously , you've just watched a truelife harrowing doc on a gruesome drug, that's slowly eating addicts flesh from the inside. And you're commenting on an orange border that Murray probably has no control over. Rethink your priorities, man and get a heart.

That is horrendous - anyone who asks "why do they do this to themselves" You've lived a privileged life, and you've experienced very little hardship in relation to the brain nature gave you - consider yourself lucky you are capable of asking such a question
@helle1145 ай бұрын
You have no idea. Not everyone with mental health issues turns to drugs. So "trank" does leave sober people wondering even if the understand the other. Just don't "presume" please.

There are those of us that haven't lived a privileged life and would ask the same question, social influence is only part of the equation.

I disagree. This behaviour is because you're stuck up your own arse not because you are disadvantaged.

@@deerees9855 "in relation the brain nature gave you" There was an important disclaimer in there, don't jump to a moral high ground for virtuous point scoring, that's all ego.

"You've lived a very privileged life, AND you've experienced very little hardship "in the relation to the brain naturegave you"" you are clearly implying that anyone who questions is it lives a privileged life and that's quite a ridiculous assumption to make. My room mate who spent 3 years getting out of the West Coast of Africa and never had reliable clean hot and cold water until he got here, he has lived a real hard life and he's asking why??? It's human nature to wonder why. Don't morally grandstand when you have no idea the hardships that people don't speak of. This is coming from someone who spent 7 years doing opiates being homeless and went through 6 rehabs, I was sticking needle in my body 4 times a day. Addiction is terrible and evil, but so are a lot of things in the world

Terrifying…. We all made fun of Nancy Reagan’s Campaign of ‘Just Say No’ but dammmmmn she was right because it’s like playing Russian Roulette with your life… only it’s a slow miserable desperate march to death

No Not slow. Quite fast and gripping. We must ask why our youngsters dare to try and become addicted. Only fear will keep them away. They got too much time on their hands and they are not learning life skills to survive: place to sleep, food to eat, job to hold. With naloxon, their hope to survive skyrocketed. So we are reviving and keeping them alive, the refreshed consumers of whatever is next… until death places the permanent grip.

@@ArtU4All I would stop blaming it on youngsters and look at the perspective we give them, every generation has blamed the "youth" overlooking the fact that they raised them this way.
@ArtU4All5 ай бұрын
@@truehighs7845 I am not blaming the youngsters. I am empathetic. I am, precisely, asking Qs of OURSELVES: the society and the environment that we created is having affect on them. Yes. But the final choice, remember the 90s and the 00s “good choice/bad choice” in early childhood development and elementary schools???? The final choice to take that first step in the wrong direction remains with the youngsters themselves. But those who must scramble to feed selves due to family’s modest means but GOOD work ethic, those youngsters get busy and learn a trade or go to college or join the military to grow-up some more. While the better-off $$$-wise youngsters start experimenting in search of F***n euphoria early, in adolescence. Because they have the means. This has been my observation from life, reading, the news from around the country and the first-hand experience as a healthcare professional. The ultimate choice is always individual.
