Just came across your channel you seem really knowledgeable regarding your profession though I have no way to gauge this. However I am sorry to say your whole credibility goes out the window when you got onto the electrical bit, an surprising as I would not expect that an experienced yachtsman such as yourself. Not just because you should have an understanding of electrical power systems but also understand how eddy currents can affect boats and indeed that is why you fit anodes. As too walking on beaches restoring someone's health well yes because you are walking! Last but by no means least the only way that grounding can help you on a yacht is if you have picked up a static charge and touch delicate electronics.

Excellent advice on grounding Gary thanks, this is a known phenomena. Anyone who disagrees needs to type one word into Google and do some due diligence before spouting off! The other positive effect (sorry for the bad pun) with walking along or being close to the ocean is negative ionization. There, that's another Google search criteria for anyone interested in undoing the negative effects of living in high tech environment(s).
