Hey Buddy, just wondering how since you a Sabbath keeper, how you have managed to work around ON CALLS in the Airconditioning and Refrigeration industry, since a lot of commercial and industrial companies want you to work Friday till Friday the next Is there an exception to this ?

I’m living in Australia just about to come out of my time as a trades men and my previous industrial refrigeration company just let me go cause I wasn’t willing to work on Saturdays or do on call on Saturday Would appreciate and respect your thought on this Since you are a Sabbath keeper yourself

Hey bud, this is a very difficult situation in our trade. The last company I worked for 5 years and this was something I negotiated upfront. It did come with a caveat that when there were major issues I had to be flexible. I work for myself now but they genuinely tried to respect Sabbath for me. I did have to bend on occasion when things were bad. This really challenges staying true to the day. I follow sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. I've rectified for myself doing what I had to in a fallen world but these are ultimately excuses to justify avoiding persecution. I doubt the Prophets would agree. This is the choices I've made and will answer for them as He determines. My suggestion is doing your best to negotiate honoring your Sabbath, and feasts, upfront. A strategy I could have but never implemented was day switching. Getting a couple of techs that would be willing to trade your Sabbath day for one of their other days. This is it's own dilemma, are your making someone else work instead. This world does not make this easy on us. Keep the path, your doing great.
