I love the geeky in depth science behind it all. The more I hear this stuff the more I understand. Been waiting for this video to come out! Thanks!

I only lose weight with low carb, i have tried so many lifestyles but the one that fits me is low carb. Is it true that being fat is genetic? It seems i can never ever "cheat" on a diet again because i even look at a brownie and i gain weight. I lost 70 lbs and i have gained back a hundred because i cheated on my lifestyle now i can't stop. Im at a loss, its so hard to get back to losing weight and now im going through menopause. I feel physically miserable which makes me mentally miserable.

This is a little convoluted and seems to miss some big points to do with our hormones. Particularly insulin, which is going to play a huge role here. Ketones could really be considered the truly prefferred fuel, but many nutritionists dont dig into this side of things

Actually, the point I'm making is that is has a lot less to do with our insulin levels - this is a good summary of that: weightology.net/insulin-an-undeserved-bad-reputation-the-finale/
