"Most self-made millionaires organize their financial goals and financial lives in such a way that their net worth increases about 8-10% per year; they set financial goals and they don't search for get-rich-quick schemes or easy money... they don't speculate, they don't take risks, and they don't look for fast ways to make money quickly and easily because there aren't any" ....Truth bomb right there.

He didn't say anything about not taking risks. How do you expect to make money if you can't take risks and get out of your comfort zone.

Um. yes he did. I was merely quoting him. Check 04:31
@jessindeed8 жыл бұрын
In this context, I think he means it's important to only take well-measured risks. Ask Mark Cuban if a risk like taking out a big loan is a good risk on the path to becoming a self-made millionaire! He's major against that, too. Those types of risks do more harm than good.

Not much people talk about the pain they go through, when the stakes are high as hell and the uncertainty and lose fuels a lot of anxiety and depression. How about paranoia? I'd say that luck CAN factor into it, but it is to be ignored because it's not an option. It's just luck. You COULD win in the lottery or for some reason your idea, product etc. just booms all of a sudden because you were in the right place at the right time. But you can not control either of those, so it's best to just ignore them. If it happens, good. But if not, that's what is to be expected. You don't lose anything if you don't get lucky because you never had it in the first place.

Really enjoyed this Brian. The common sense approach of steady growth vs get rich qick schemes. I'm 52 and should have about 1.2m in stock holdings in the next 6 years by following the advice of sure and steady. My main concern though is that its all wrapped up in a 401k and if the market doesn't perform/underperforms then I won't reach my target
@HcmdWoW10 жыл бұрын
Dude, you cannot do that, you can't put your money in a 401k and wait for the price to go up, that's gambling. I reccomend to you to put your money out of that hell and take complete control of your money and savings, you can do that by investing in yourself first, your education is more important than anything else. You can also search for an autor called "Robert Kiyosaki" and check out his philosofies, I'm 100,000% shure that if you invest time and dedication to your financial education, you will achieve anything you want.

Generally, I really like Tracy's presentations. I would like to point out that stating first that a) there's no such thing as making money quickly and then b) noting that Broadway producer Mike Todd went from broke to millions "in a few months" is a bit at odds with this. Tracy notes that self-made millionaires don't take risks, but for Todd to have gone from broke to millionaire in a few months would have entailed pretty substantial risk, unless there is some kind of investment vehicle I don't know about.

Thanks :)

+Emma Durakovic im gonna keep it real with you networking and marketing should be your primary focus when it comes to building a buisness a good product is worthless without any marketing so start networking with people i dont wanna say i'm a millionare but i have the mindset for becoming one. you can get rich in any buisness but yes some are easier than others on diffrent factors the ammount of money you need to invest ammount of products/services you need to sell and how the supply and demand chain works in that buisness and last but not least competion hope that helped.

4:56 I don't agree with that statement at all ! Seriously who wants to be a millionaire when they'll be old and die the richest in the cimetery. Wealth and money is made to enjoy it, to spend it and realize your dreams and goals with it while you still have energy. Grant Cardone wouldn't agree with that at all ! I think we should be careful about who we listen to, who we take advice from. Grant is worth over $500 millions and made it in business and real estate while Brian probably only made it from his teachings. It is my belief that not a single billionaire on this planet got rich slowly, by being patient and waiting decades. Some people become millionaire in the matter of 2 to 5 years.

So many millionaires just become collectors greedy and not helping others. Building treasure in heaven is more useful doing good helpful things. If you use money for this pupose rather than just aquiring materialsitic things I think you are on to a winner. Studies of millionaries show some interesting traits like they buy quality shoes and repair them rather than buy a new pair. They buy in older mores established above average streets rather than new housing estates. They holiday approx once every two years. From what I remember , there are some good books out there like The Millionaire Mind by Thomas J. Stanley. Millionaires are generally thrifty rather than overspenders. The term millionaire must be close now to being replaced with billionaire as an achievement of wealth.
