This was very helpful!!, I'm working on creating Valentine's version of my social media banners and I wanted to font and red hearts to be red glitter! The only problem that I have (and I have no idea how I made it through photography school), I am ADHD and dyslexic, so taking notes as you are explaining is rather rough even though you explained everything at a decent and normal rate of speed. Do you happen to have a website where you have these tutorials? Reading them is much easier on me than watching the videos.

Hi Shelly, sorry I don't have them as text files. But if you click on the three dots to the right of save button below the video you can open the transcript. It will show in the upper right, next to the video. That should make it easy to take notes or just read.

No, the text has to be place first, then the effect applied to the text.

How can you make that color black?

When you put in the color with Hue/Saturation slide Saturation clear to the left to remove all the color and then move the Lightness slider towards the left to darken it. Don't go all the way to black or it won't look good, choose a dark gray.

Hi, in the recent versions of Photoshop Adobe moved all the old patterns into a Legacy folder. Here is how to find them. Go to the Window menu and click Patterns, in the Patterns panel click the icon in the upper right corner to bring up the options menu, click on Legacy Patterns, that will load the old patterns into the panel as a new folder. You can find the pattern I used in there

Dear Sir! When we save it as jpg the blue color become gray in image like glitter color, why??

Make sure that jpg is set to 12 or maximum to minimize any color changes. The jpg format is a lossy format and will always lower the quality of an image. So always set it to the highest quality setting possible to minimize that.
