I've never flown ANA, but I redeemed a bunch of my BA miles on JAL F and really enjoyed it. I flew Haneda to SFO, with a flight that left after midnight and arrived 6 pm. They did light bites and then breakfast as I recall. I really prefer the light bites approach. I've flown Cathay several times leaving HKG at 2 or 3 am, and the flight attendants were ready to serve a full dinner, which was pretty crazy. I appreciate the hospitality, but at 3 am, I'm not at all prepared to consume a full dinner.

Very nice video. Totally professionally done. I fly 3-4 international trips/year. It's not enough to get anything. I used to collect United miles but they've become worthless. Now I just buy lowest fare. I really don't know if these points deals are worth the trouble.

You should’ve take Singapore airlines’ first class. The seat is bigger than ANA. And JAL is actually better than ANA too.

The video is great. Thanks for sharing. But yes, the seat looks small. I do not think it is really worth the price. SQ is way to go for their size. While KE is the best because their first class is always empty. So you pay only $10k, but get the whole cabin.

Thanks but it doesn't explain how he got the MR points for free... was it through manufactured spending? If not, then how is it considered free when you have to spend money to meet minimum spend to gain signup bonuses? I know you can do things like buy an airline ticket to meet minimum spend and then refund the ticket and get to keep the signup bonus points, but anything beyond that, I don't know how he gets all the points without running the cards on his business

viksra I think he was using the term "free" very liberally. From what I can gather, he simply had some points that were about to expire which he used to upgrade his ticket.
