Thanks Ray, Photoshop Elements used to have a great slideshow program up until version 10. Adobe removed that in version 11.

I can't seem to get the pixel slideshow to work. I used Vise to get to the 4 new styles of slide shows, but can't save it. Please help. You did a nice job at explaining how the slide shows work.

Hi Linda, not sure what Vice is (aside from the obvious and I don't think you mean that you stole the new styles). If it is a download site or something along those lines then if you could give me more info I can look into it.

@@LINDAOZAG Ahhh, that relieves my mind. In the Slideshow app, way over on the right hand side you will see 2 buttons, one for Save As, this allows you to save the slideshow to the Organizer so that you can work on it later and the other one for Export which allows you to save it out as a playable version. If you want to save it as video to your hard drive choose Export video to local disc

Do you know how to create your own theme in a slide show instead of using one of the existing canned ones?

Unfortunately you can't. The best way to do a slideshow is to use Premiere Elements instead since a slideshow is really a video.

What is a "photoshop elements organizer" and how do I access it in Photoshop?

Hi Eileen, the Organizer is part of the Photoshop Elements program and is not included with Photoshop. But with Photoshop you have the much better Adobe Bridge program.

TY, but i knew all that! i was hoping there was something i'd missed! i have pse 6 on an ancient computer, and there, it's possible to edit timings, transitions etc. i hate this useless new version!

I happen to agree with you. Adobe changed the whole program in version 11, simplifying almost everything and at the same time getting rid of the great slideshow program.
