Honestly, this situation makes me feel uneasy, particularly with the Fed's decision to cut interest rates by 50 bps. It indicates deeper economic concerns, and I'm uncertain about my $130K investment strategy, especially with the possibility of not just a recession but potentially a depression.

I agree. Exactly why I now work with one. A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their emotions, no offense. I remember some years back, during the covid-outbreak, I needed a good boost to stay afloat, hence researched for advisors and thankfully came across one with grit. As of today, my cash reserve has yielded from $350k to nearly $1m

Since Trump took office, there seem to have been more favorable results in America. These results include effects on the markets, such as price declines and sharp decreases in inflation, as well as bank failures. I wonder if the sudden decrease in interest rates will help value investors or if it would be wiser to stay away from the stock and financial markets for the time being.
@Franklin-gq4si15 күн бұрын
Buy the dip It will be profitable in the long run now. However, investors should be wary of the bull run. It is advisable to connect with a skilled adviser to fulfill your growth objectives and prevent mistakes. High interest rates typically result in lower stock prices.

I truly enjoy having a portfolio coach to help me make market judgments on a daily basis despite the market trends. They possess a special combination of abilities that enable them to take both long and short positions, benefiting from the possibility of significant gains while also safeguarding against downward turns. Additionally, they have access to exclusive knowledge and research that virtually guarantees they will outperform. I've had a portfolio coach for more than 13 months, and throughout that time I've actually earned over $172k. It was a wonderful experience!

For the Newbie if you are actually trading in the crypto space and you don't have a sound mentor. Then you are certainly going to get liquidated in 90% of your trades. Yeah that's sad truth. I remember when i just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 i ended up selling it because i have lost alot trading all by myself without a guide. Got back into crypto early in 2024 with $20k and I'm up with $232k in a short period of time

I really want to ask a question that isn't exactly about stocks, but impacts my comfort level in having them. ATT sent me a text that tells me to allow them to run ATT something, whatever, on my battery, in the background, while I do other things. I used to have a Samsung, very nice, & the battery started going out in something like less than an hour, maybe even 30 minutes.....the WHOLE charge; so, I'm not big on ATT running something in the background to back up my data. They said some data may be lost if I don't. Lost as in some of my stock prices are lost? Or lost as in text messages are deleted? Can you ask an ATT person to explain? They can take my old text messages, & I'll be okay; but, are they saying they might not keep my data on many stocks (several brokerages)?

I believe the safest approach is to diversify investments especially under professional; guide. You can mitigate the effects of a market meltdown by diversifying their investments across different asset classes such as stocks, etfs etc It is important to seek the advice of an expert.

Review your portfolio with a professional and don't make the same mistakes again. Diversify, as in your stock portfolio, and hopefully consult a professional. The key to building wealth is long term. Regarding people not coming back, if you tell them to get out, Motley Fool is better ( not bad to pretty good). I gave over $2,000 to Navallier, in 2021, & a fair number of those recommended stocks went BAD, some to almost zero. Some did well, I guess, but not enough to offset my MASSIVE losses. Those are just the facts. The feelings are sort of like, WTF, SEC?!!!! If this isn't acceptable under freedom of speech, please delete.
