• How I Lost 9kg of Weig...
The first and most fundamental step to lose weight and get fit is a profound change of mindset. In this video, I am sharing my experiences, learnings, and ideas on the core components of the mindset shift that helped me lose 15kg (~33 pounds) of weight over 13 weeks of dieting and exercising so far. I am roughly halfway toward my ultimate goal of reaching 80kg in weight. If you have any suggestions, advice, learnings, or personal stories you would like to share, I would appreciate hearing from you a lot!

thank you, Stas. I really identify with what you spoke about. Two months ago I looked in the mirror and got really angry. The same week a good friend of mine with a young family had a stroke. I realized that nothing I went through in losing weight would be worse than the absolute hell his recovery has been. I went whole hog: calorie restriction, NO sugar/alcohol, 16:8 intermittent fasting, working out in gym 2 to 3 hours a day six days a week. I have made it my total priority. The results have been fantastic. 40 pounds loss in 60 days. Blood pressure down from 138/96 to 114/75! I’m halfway there, but I’m tired and beat up. I like what you said about “shooting for the stars”. That thinking really helped get me here. (I aim for James Bond 😂).I really feel like a skinny person in a fat person’s body and then I get angry at myself again and push harder. good luck on your journey mate. Thanks for the inspiration when I needed it.

Hi, this is a comment from Japan. I had a similar aversion, so I recently started cycling and exercising. Aim for a healthy body by reducing unnecessary fat. Your words are very heavy. When I feel like I'm giving up on exercising, I think I'll watch this video over and over again. thank you🙌

Maybe a medical check up prior to starting any drastic changes is advisable and folliw ups with a nutritionist. Body builders have a predisposition for building up muscle mass.

Luke, don’t give in to anger. That leads to the dark side.

Yeah, I was almost at the point of reciting some lines from the code of the Sith or cracking a joke, that I sounded almost like Darth Sidious during that chunk of a video :) But hey, he was a ruler of a huge chunk of the galaxy, so probably knew a thing or two about motivation and discipline :)
