There is more to words being said than just how well we know them in terms of meanings. When words come out of our mouths, we are about to express more by dint of making our body and facial language known to others being involved in a conversation or exchange of words with us. Our face alongside the rest of our body say much more and they solely complete and even support the hidden message we intend to put across to those who are to be the receivers of our "spoken feeling", and we tend to do it through irony and hints. We just expect others to "get the actual message". All of that happens because we do not want to hurt anyone and their feelings, it also hinges on how educated and respectful we are, since there is no reason to yell at somebody, we just kind of give them a black look or we grimace at them. Interesting blend of language and energy behind the message.
