You can change the auto settings for NoNoise A1, If you go to Edit, then preferences. On the first page (General), down the bottom is an option for NoNoise. High is 100%, medium 70% and low is 50%. However as far as I'm aware there is no way to change the setting on Tack Sharp, which does seem strange as I find that somewhere around 10 is generally the best option.

Yes, you can change default settings, but then it underdoes the high megapixel images. Fine if you only have one camera or all your cameras are the same.

It should have a way to automatically detect the resolution of the image. True AI would do that. Whenever I run a 20mpx image (from my R6) through it, it inevitably way oversharpens it. I have to back off deblur to 50%, reduce microsharpen to zero and often change method to high detail. When I run a 32mpx image (from my R7) it does a perfect job every time automatically.

I picked up the plugin bundle on black Friday because the price was so good. Already had the "Both" button figured out, but I know there is a lot more to learn in the plugin, especially the layers and masking. Will you be doing a video on how to use those? Thanks.

Hi - new subscriber here. I'm just about to get a new apple silicon mac, and am looking for videos showing performance with On1PR. I'm particularly interested in this video with no-noise AI, since this is painfully slow on my current machine. Here in this video it looks fine. Do you mind sharing what spec you have for your mac - particularly which CPU/GPU you have, and how much RAM. This will give me a good idea as to whether I'll get adequate performance with a new mac. Thanks.

Very good Anthony. I am one of those "new to the application" people and this helps clarify that issue. I may be switching fully to On1 2023 fully from Luminar NEO because of unresolved stability issues.....but I also have the Topaz suite!!! Do you think these tools in ON1 make Topaz unnecessary....or is there room for both?

One of the things that always sets Anthony Morganti’s edits apart from his contemporaries on KZbin is that he subtly improves the photo. Most of the others, and some stand out, over-saturate, re-light… just plain over-edit… to the point that they’ve turned a sketchy photograph into a bad art project rather than turn the photograph into a better and believable piece.

It was very frustrating for me to find out that on1 nonoise ai doesn't work in my laptop because my video card is too old and on1 can't use CPU instead like Topaz Photo AI does.

Maybe a stupid question.... How can I change my chosen language My language is set to Dutch but I want to change it to English, Thank you in advance !

You may have to reinstall the software, and then chose the language option. My brother told me that the Dutch translation is very bad, and at times incomprehensible. He struggled with it and then uninstalled and reinstalled the program with English as interface language. Success!

Hey Anthony, I thought it was just my funky computer but I see the same thing happening with your edit. Under Nothing actually happens with micro sharpening until you pull back Tacksharp AI Deblur from 100%. Until you do that, you will not see any rendering graph activity. Therefore, no rendering takes place! If you go back to 100% you will see that it re-renders properly. I suppose one of us should report this to Dan H. or whoever...
