This story really hits home because the deceased was my friends secondary school classmate.I am very livid about everything 😪. The truth is that Chima has been complaining about the same boy ,just like Daniel mentioned. The boy is from Ebonyi state and he is very stubborn and Chima was always cross with him. Also the story I heard was that yes Chima scolded him for not doing the dishes but in the middle of the fracas, NEPA struck and it was when Chima was trying to find the torchlight, the boy hit him 3x. In their heart, they want to go to school and become somebody in the future too but life has dealt them a sad blow. Unfortunately, their master can treat them like dirt too. Why slap a teenager that is not even your own kid. Even biological kids are dealing with their parents too especially here in the States. It's just unfortunate and Extremely sad. No excuse for his behavior and, he should be charged as an adult. The deed has been done. The African government as a whole need to enact laws that makes it illegal to employ children and also illegal for helpers to live in the house except women in their 30s, 40s, etc who are matured and have sensible sense of reasoning.
