Lots of things to consider since we've all been at the receiving end of un-neighbourly behavior. I believe eDrums can still get quieter. A better mesh head could solve a lot of issues. For serious drummers who live in apartment, the answer might be as simple as finding the appropriate practice space. In my own case, I've lived next door to children learning how to play violin. It sounds like somebody is killing a cat. To me that's the sweetest sound in the world, because every time you hear it, you know there is an eight year old child is learning to play the violin.

@@Egoblivion Yeah it's probably not super for technical fast play etc. But it's fine for basic stuff.

Just bought a electric drum set after playing for years and then rarely playing for 8+ years.. neighbors just banged on the ceiling while I was practicing double bass. Good recommendation youtube!

I ACTUALLY need this as I live in an apartment on the third floor with PAPER thin walls and floors, and the simple act of stepping on my pedals makes it sound like I'm stomping around like a Rhino to my downstairs neighbors. I've been unable to play for months because of noise complaints.
@beano12343 Жыл бұрын
he is absolutely WHALING on that set, i'd be surprised it lasts over 2 months with the way he plays it

When there's no drum sound but you can still understand what you're playing. So much precision you wouldn't even need to plug them in to make them sound good

It’s always good to have nice neighbours I play guitar and bass and drums (but don’t have a kit) and I can have it up as loud as I need and if they want it down I’ll turn it down and my mate plays piano which you can hear from the other side and they all say they love us playing the music

I had a roland kit at a townhouse - neighbor complained brutally the first day I got it. The pads are very loud and the kick vibrates the entire floor. I wouldn't do electronic drums again unless I owned a house.
@EmlynInTheMix2 жыл бұрын
Haha true! My neighbors complained they could hear the kick drum pedal as that’s the sound that really travels!! I wish I could play as good as you however! You look so relaxed while you play 👍

This is awesome because this is exactly what I do and I've never given a second though to what the neighbors think except they must be happy I'm not on an acoustic kit.
