What’s one thing you’ve learned from starting your own KZbin channel or building your personal brand on social media? If you haven’t started yet, what’s holding you back? Let’s chat in the comments-I’d love to hear your story!

I started on about 15years ago when I was in Drifting and sort of forgot about it and it was easy back then and monetization was just starting out, I wish I stuck with it. Now I struggle to get going again for many reasons I am working through, really there is nothing stopping me but me. I like this video, it has helped alot.

@@AOVIPNZI totally relate to this! I’ve started 2 other channels in the past and gave up on both of them because I didn’t have the right WHY and was basically approaching it completely opposite of what I talk about in this video. 3rd time’s a charm right?! If you want to start your channel again (or a new one) just go for it! You have such an interesting lifestyle and amazing stories and experiences that people will love to hear you talk about!! I bet you’d do really well at it! ❤

I hear you completely. My partner can’t know about my journey creating a KZbin channel. She will stop me because “it’s not making money…” but it’s more than that. It’s about sheer creativity and connection. It creates health. For the mind, body and soul… as cliche as it sounds. Yes, I compare myself to everyone lol. I’m working on not anymore. It’s difficult but I’m trying. You can’t over think it, I’ve learned. I wanted to start a KZbin channel years ago and I always found excuses. I was too fat. I was too ugly. I was too boring. I was too, too, too, too, too!!!! I’m too angry to not do it lol! I have to just do it. But now um waiting for a decent microphone for a knock off go pro. Because I’ve learned that audio is the most important. My phone is too old to use it as a video camera.

I totally get it-starting can be the hardest part, especially when you don't feel supported by your partner! But don’t wait for anyone else's permission or the perfect gear; I’ve uploaded 75 videos and still record with just my phone (haven’t even bought a mic yet!). Just go for it, and let your creativity flow. You’ve got this!

OMG! I took a.lot of notes!! In fact, I feel like I could do a video on each of them , they are that good!! My favorite was the last one-"Appreciate your worth" you may have said it in a different way but this is what I heard. Appreciate what you know, what you have accomplished, what you've been through, your Blessings, your superpowers, what it took to get you to who you are today!!!!! I look forward to nine + years more of your outstanding videos!!!

Yep. You are on your way! Just the healing/rebuilding your life has a ton of ideas for content if that's a direction you want to take your channel. You have a nice personality, very well spoken, so yeah. KZbin is sharing ideas and you do that very well! You are going to do very well!

Thanks Brooke. I didn't even know what I was doing when I created a channel in 2009. I paid someone to videotape a Laughter yoga session with some children. I have the DVD so, I had someone assist me to put that on KZbin.😂 I do have a KZbin channel. Thanks as always for your valuable tips. I will definitely revisit my channel and see how best I can manage it in a consistent, meaningful way.

Love the honesty and good book recommendations. Also love the fair warning about being willing to play the game at the thing you think you want to do.
