The interviewer is a joke….a wanna be racist in many peoples opinions. Little dude is not from Dc and was always broke and lives for Fox. You should see him talking about Dc….he not only is vile but he constantly tells lies about Dc. He also loves men and hates being so little. lol His troll of a buddy who works on Cap Hill makes no money and acts like he is a politician. Everyone told Peter how much this guy (you) suck and lie. Let’s all boycott and blast this guys page for his lies and racism in my opinion. Get his conservative little self.

@@100millioneuros This is the rhetoric I hear a lot about people who become famous or make a lot of money by just doing the right thing or telling others stories with out judgement. The fact is.. yes he is famous on KZbin. He got there by being selfless and bipartisan... non judging while documenting his travels. He doesn't have that trait because it makes him money.... that trait makes him money. So his agenda is to tell the facts , he subsequentially makes money off his videos. It doesn't in anyway diminish his intent or what he does. In fact with out the content income he probably wouldn't be able to continue to tell these very important stories about people that live in this world. I don't fault him for feeling like a celebrity and what he does is good an informative.

Peter Sentenello has such a gentle way of relating to people he's dealing with in his videos. I'm an Eastern Band Cherokee guy and I began watching Peter because I'm disabled due to combat traumatic brain injury. It manifests itself by giving me a never-ending intractable migraine 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Having that problem prevents me from visiting my cousins at their reservations. If I could, I'd be at pow wows around the country, but because of the limitations of my condition it's impossible. Peter allows me to visit other reservations without leaving my home. As time has gone by, I've come to truly enjoy Peter's ways of interacting with people on camera. His genuine charisma and charm comes through perfectly, which enhances everything he does on his videos. Thank you for interviewing Peter, it was very informative and interesting.

I just discovered Peter Santenello and realize how starved I am for this sort of content. His ethnographic approach to subjects reminds me of how journalism (which it is) used to work. I have degrees in communication and worked as a media analyst for a few years, so perhaps my opinion is skewed by my background, but his huge and growing number of subscribers prove that there is an appetite information presented without an obvious bias or political point of view. I'm very tired of the silos. Thank you, Peter!

I’m an angry old man but I love what Peter is doing. He encourages real people tell their stories in areas of the world that I might never be able to visit. The respect he gives not only to the people he interviews but also his audience is refreshing. He is showing us not only the “ground zero” places of hot topics today, but also the simple, often beautiful, forgotten places and people of our world. I’m thankful that he, and others like him, are helping to turn “bitter angry old people” into content young people, one video at a time.

He even admits himself that you can't get to 'truth' i.e. his perception is skewing the story. It is admirable he recognises this and holds the search for truth as an ideal that drives him. This is what smart looks like. This is what smart sounds like. This is what intelligence is. This is what good attitude is. Peter's responses in this interview need to be shown to every kid growing up, every young adult deciding what to do after high school, every adult working who might be floundering. I don't mean that everyone needs to do what Peter does, I mean that listening to his hard-won, down-to-earth, feet-firmly-on-the-ground, head in a space of openness and learning without "taking sides." Then a whole other level for people who do interviews/broadcast/tell stories. The success of real learning when partisanship or hammering home a lecture are absent. Gosh, I've got a lot of catching up to do to watch all Peter Santenello's videos. 😍

Journalism is dead in America. Peter, you rock! People want straight up truth, and you are the only one delivering it right now! Thank you very much for what you are doing! Love all of your videos, especially the recent Hawaii series you just did! And thank you, Sagnik, for this wonderful, transparent interview with Peter! You're awesome, too! Keep up the great work!

One very strong aspect of Peter's content is his verbal dialog. He doesn't use vocatives (like, you know, man, etc). A good speaker doesn't use that filler. It is very annoying to listen to a blog when those repetitive words are used.

Interesting. I started making content in 2006 and retired in 2018. Billions of views over multiple channels. It is harder to get started now, hats off to Peter.

I just recently found him and I'm in love with his videos. He is very respectful where ever he goes and he doesn't get pissed off and shove the camera in their faces if they don't want to be on camera. I believe his respect for that has allowed him to be able to interview as many people as he has. I'm currently watching his amish playlist and plan to watch more. I usually don't watch someone's videos from over 2 years ago but I'm finding myself watching his!! I get too see the world as I normally wouldn't.

Peter; as one of his followers, portrays the reality of the "culture" within he has submerged himself. He brings the "truth" to his viewers of the people he interviews....Peter is a 'true" cultural modern anthropologist."
