Well, it doesn't lower the amount of skill needed, but it does change what kind of skill set you need. For example, people playing on normal Battle Royale need to have coordinated fingers, because they have 5 more buttons (on PC) to remember than someone playing on Zero Build. But in Zero Build, you need to be able to observe and use the environment around you. (edit) after learning beyond just the basics of building, i have changed my mind. zero build is less skilled.

Zipline, grapple guns, boats, helicopters, planes and car's these are just a few ways for you to get around the map. They could easily add items that would be good for build mode and vice versa but that is a lot of work and they might not do it. I personally think you're just having a doomsday outlook on the situation try to have a more optimistic Outlook cuz there's still a lot they can do with the game you're just not thinking big enough. It will change nothing for the map or even the in game weapons, map have always been designed to be playable without building, it's the case from the start of the game and when I mean start, since saved world, and for the weapon the only that could possibly change is damage, fire rate or just rework, or just no change. Fortnite developers have standard and even if sometimes the team can go wrong (season 3 chapter 3 a big disappointment for me) they knew what they do and try.

Everytime he said a negative, I instantly reinforced it with how great that actually sounds. Less crazy high ground? More terrain to use? Epic. Less explosion/boom? More aim training? Epic. I enjoy both. Building lets me show off my muscle memory. Meanwhile zero-build allows me to show off my game knowledge. Definitely a lot easier to feel you're playing at a higher IQ in zero-build personally. Less about my reaction time and muscle memory. More about how I prepared for a situation and all the factors that may enter it.

Panic building wouldnt be so goddamn annoying if there was a 1 second or even just a 1/2 second delay between placing builds down, but because theres no delay literally anyone by themselves can just build fuxking FORT KNOXX in seconds. A mechanic like that should require TEAMWORK, not little timmy shitting his pants and pressing all the buttons on his controller because he got grazed by a stray bullet.

Fortnite won’t have crazy maps: fortnite og having rifts to fix that. Fortnite won’t have rocket launcher: chapter 4 and epic allowing different loot pools.

I believe zero build was a great addition cos build just became a coward competition whoever gets shot at just builds a giant maze and hide rather than attacking. Playing zero build for over a year now and can say not relying on builds makes you have to stay smart. Either avoiding open areas with no cover. Inventory management for mobility or cover if you have to enter an open area. And slide canceling to make the most of your sprint guage to push an enemy who's spraying you. Zero build comes with different skills to build mode. So don't criticise it. Also high ground is a tactical advantage that can be countered just like rockets or miniguns. Have you played this season mate. Just sounds like you suck at zero build tbh.

Your skill is in building and editing, not on Aim or mobility or even game sense. Once a shot is heard, yall build an entire house. Literally so whack. Super scared way of playing
