The concept of quantifying nothingness also has biological relevance. Homeostasis, which is a crucial concept in physiology is about correcting for changes in the body so that the net change is zero. It doesn't mean there had been no change, rather counteracting the change that occurred to the physiological variable. But of course, how could this be explainable without the ability to quantify no or zero net change?

The concept of "nothing" is not something that was invented, but rather a philosophical and mathematical concept that has been pondered and explored by various cultures throughout history. There's no single individual credited with its invention. The idea of "nothing" has been a subject of contemplation in various philosophical traditions, including Greek, Chinese, and Buddhist thought. It's a concept that has been interpreted and understood in different ways, often tied to ideas about existence, non-existence, and the nature of reality.

@@syafiqfirdaus1620 nothing is philosophical but giving it meaning by discovery of zero is the invention. Aryabhat is one who needs to be credited for this and all the scientific discoveries are philosophical before the reality or physical means.Vedha's are oldest scriptures of Hinduism have this philosophy of nothing, It's not about who discovered or invented It's about who get credit for that. It's not about religion, society It's about person or community.
