Spraying with water first is a good tip, although I forgot having not used this stuff for ages. But it didn’t matter as it happens. Also, it is very messy to work with, so gloves are a must. Finally, clean the nozzle tube with a solvent to unblock it, so it can be reused. I used some Carb cleaner from the garage. Thanks for posting.

@@how2not22 I have some gap between the floor and the garage door. We never open the garage door as there is another door to get in. Garage is used as storage. When it rains, water goes inside the garage through those gaps in the floor. Now I want to use expanded foam to close those gaps. Will these foams be able to plug those gaps? Please advise.

@briantrend1812

don't use it outside on a very cold day. if your nozzle spout is clogged don't worry, when u need to use it again a long time later you can use a wire or thin flat metal to pierce the foam filled nozzle and push it in and out until it clears of old foam, the nozzle will work again. some idiots are too lazy and throw half a cans worth in the garbage. best to have lots of holes to fill around your property all . the same time. if youre a conservationist then instead of dump the off cuts into the in collect them un a bag and stuff them into large holes with the wet foam Look Ma No Waste. If you fancy sculpturing then blow the foam into a box and shape a mans head/ or blow into moulds and shape clean with sandpaper or a stanley surfform tool. I'm experimenting now to make my own mould to produce a surfboard blank for shaping a surfboard., this foam however seems to have a too soft cell under the hardened skin surface.

You need a craft knife! A hacksaw or bow saw is overkill for trimming expanding foam, and the breadknife is a bit too big to be really convenient. I also agree with the asmr comments. You're a natural, really.
