Hi Rhyce, we found it cycled very well! We used Fiocchi 223 Extrema 55gr Polymer Tip on this shoot. I've personally tried PMC 223 Bronze Hunting 55gr Soft Point rounds, but they didn't cycle as well. - JK

I had almost the same rifle with an internal magazine 223 I had two 1500's in fact...either one of them would slow cycle the bullets would fall out or get stuck underneath the bolt and jam they held a one and a half inch group at 100 yards which is terrible with gold medal match 😂

Ace 1 you are correct many of the 1500s with internal magazines do not cycle at all

Probably would of had better groups if you followed howa break in method and a stable rear bag

@@cottleful if you looked down a howa barrel youd see the tooling marks and understand, higher priced guns are easier

If only they made a MINI action with a 24" or 26" barrel.

You can start getting very minimal gains or near deprecation in velocity with that long of a barrel, in a mini action a suppressor will make up for that velocity especially in a 556/ 223.

With a number 6 contour barrel I wouldn’t be blaming the rifle heating up with the few rounds you fired!

What you see in this video is about 20% of the shooting we actually did. We were getting quite a bit of heat from the silencer, giving us a hard time scoping in with the heat shimmer - JK

Yeah for some reason Howa and Ruger American loves PMC, Fiocchi however mmm not so much, I hope you bring back 308 win PMC in stock, it is really good and at fair price!!
