It's funny how upset Howard get right away when the caller brings this up, and then how Howard hardly lets the caller get a word in before he latches on to something the caller says and takes it in an entirely different direction before hanging up on him lmaoo. Howard is the source of many of his own problems.

I want soooooo bad to give you a thumbs up because I love Howard, but you've made it near impossible. I'm listening to this while doing other things on my computer like I did with the original show... and enjoying it, but the long pauses of silence especially in the middle of sentences, cause me to have to stop what I'm doing to check to see if this vid ended only to find it's just one of your long, asinine and unnecessary pauses between or in the middle of a segment. Thumbs up to Howard, thumbs down to your presentation.

I was such a big fan back around this time. Was 18 going into college. This, Jackie leaving, and the move over to digital ruined the whole era for me... nowadays in a 40yr old man and I actually find most of it pathetic.... especially the parts when he flirts hard with women... he's a pathetic man, I don't care how much he's worth.

@Byrons Reward now i have to believe thats a minority opinion... maybe its my age but i count the best years as those that Artie was there. Yes the last year got a little stale when every punchline from Artie had some self depreciating angle about him being addicted to heroin attached to it. I almost didnt believe it because he talked about it so much. That and because he lies. Im a heroin addict. And i certainly now believe Artie is one as well. But half his stories arent true. For example, he talks about the "one time" he shot heroin... Of course he's hanging with a hot stripper who also happens to be a heroin addict, his supplier as well as his fuk buddy. Red flag #1. Can a heroin addict be any one of those things? Absolutely. Can she be all three? Far less likely. So niw im suspicious. She then takes a very drunk and high Artie (and of course against his will, cuz hes a good boy, no needles for him) and injects him with heroin through a manner in which he used a term to describe that was uses only in the 1940s and 50s. Artie says she gives him heroin through a "skin pop." Not intravenously, but just under the skin. And having no idea of what hes talking about he says it instantly made him throw up... injecting a drug like heroin in that manner doesnt work like that. You ever see a junky flip out when they miss a vein or even better have you evrr seen an addicts scared body and wonder why yhry would do that to themselves if they could simply "skin pop" it anywhere on their body and get a similar effect? They wouldnt. In my expirience youre lucky if your body is able to metabolize enough of the morphine in that heroin to keep you from going into withdrawal like you didnt take the drugs at all. And if Artie had any kind tolerance at this point there is no way hrd even feel it no kess vomit it back up instantly. He basically in opinion took 2 ir 3 stories hes read about charlie parker or ray charles and pieced them together with his own. And i get. Youre on air 4 hours a day, trying to sell books ect... but its really disingenuous and a slight to the community of those who struggle with sobriwty to hear this fat, rich spoiled junky makeup war stories to tell. Addiction is sad and intriguing in and of itself. You dont need to embelish. One day you woke up and realized that without this powder you are useless in the world and this powder is very illegal and expensive. It changes everything about who are and what you believe in. That's dramatic enough.
