Howard Johnson by Wyndam in Gatlinburg | Room Tour

We stated in the Howard Johnson by Wyndham Hotel in Gatlinburg Tennessee. This place was one block from the main strip.

Nice porch view with the creek right there behind you. The sound of running water is so nice to hear. Beautiful country side as well. Looks like you had a great vacation.

So we’re staying here right now for the whole week. So when I say this I’m not kidding at all. We have experienced something odd 2 nights in a row. I woke up in the middle of the night to a shadow shaped like a human standing in our room. The 2nd night me and my wife heard knocking on our balcony door from the outside. There’s no way for someone to be out on the balcony because they would have to climb up the hotel to get to our balcony.

Whoa that's nuts. We only stayed a few nights but we never noticed or had any of these types of experiences. Hope all is good.

Also there is a history in Gatlinburg so remember they arent there to do harm just curious whos there

Is there a safe in the room to fit a laptop?

No it does not have a pool. The only draw back we found.

@@timtglf I just looked at the site that is the pool at the hotel next to this one. You may be able to use it but as it was cold (well to us ha) we did not ask about accommodation for pool time.
