Hahaha i just hope you cite YMS's legendary review of the season 2 dumpster fire, how AMCs greedy ass fired Darabont after the success of season 1, cut their budget in half, brought in an absolute hack writer that stuck them on a farm because they knew people would still watch it..even suggested only HEARING the zombies, and just had two person drama scenes..It was an absolute crime hahah, because they owned walking dead fully unlike BB, they milked the absolute shit out of it. I know you'll obviously comment on how awful season 2 was, but maybe adding a comment to go watch that to find out the details of why it sucked so hard hahaha

as unfortunately forgettable a character Jim is in the grand scope of the show, his death and especially Andrew Rothenberg's performance did wonders in conveying how brutal of a plague the virus actually is when infecting a live host. Think back to the last time you were horribly ill and you'll notice his rendition of that sweaty, nauseous misery is spot on.

I'll never forget when i first saw season 1. My friend at the time invited me over just to check out the pilot episode of this 'new show' called the walking dead. He knew I liked horror, so we watched one episode and then continued to marathon all of season 1, since season 2 wasn't out yet. I was absolutely glued to the laptop screen. Andrew Lincoln. is beyond an amazing actor. His emotional range is perfect.

04:09 very very small thing but Morgan didn’t live in ricks neighbourhood, the house they were staying at belonged to one of the Grime’s families neighbours. It is a bit coincidental how Morgan’s passed wife (Jenny) a) happened to be one of the variant walkers with some intelligence/ memory left. She got bit and stayed in the house before dying from fever and I guess that’s the memory she had left

My favorite part of the CDC finale that you didnt include, is when Jenner is describing how the building self destructs. the line "It sets the air on fire." has been stuck in my brain since I first saw the episode in 2012ish.

@@Howesenberg Thats actually how I learned about how AMC fucked over Darabont, the actors and the show. Impresses me how greedy a studio can be to the point they ruin possibly one of the greatest shows that could’ve aired, had they stuck with Darabont. Season 2 is painfully obvious with the quality drop from season 1. Darabonts style is just amazingly recognizable and unique so the quality drop is especially noticeable with the walking dead.

@@Howesenberg To add onto this, I think you could group seasons that share a major arc. Doesn't necessarily have to be the main plot, just arcs that really resonate with the fans. For example, you could group Seasons 1 and 2 together as the family/Shane arc, you could do 3 and 4 as the prison or Governor arc, etc.
