Howie doesn't take sides. He's always looking for a fair process for the league, the players, the fans and the owners. One of my favorite defensive players of all time. Love me some Howie 🏈🏈🏈

@@BRIANDER100 Look.....I already know when a dude poses a question like this the person is looking for a fight. Men who are envious, jealous and lacking in self confidence absolutely hate it when women compliment handsome, secure, successful, accomplished men like Howie Long. Soooooo........ just move along and pick your next fight.

Working in the media, they used to beat that accent out of you. They wouldn't let you go on the air without a voice to match.

Met Howie back in 1984 at Raider camp in Napa, Ca. He was most gracious and made me feel so very welcome; thank you, Mr. Long. Oh, he has the thickest and strongest hands I've ever seen and shook.

In '85, after his game against the Bears, while walking to their cars he confessed to Lyle Alzado that he hadn't been SO beat-up in a game...since grade school. That's the very contest were, out of frustration, he began to cry...in the 3 rd. quarter.

that was very short but perfectly said. "don't tell me what you think, tell me what you know. " the league suspended him off of what they think happened!

Howie is great. This clip tells absolutely nothing about Howie’s numerous stories growing up in Charlestown though. He had a tough and very interesting childhood.

He moved in with his uncle in Milford and lived and went to school there for his high school years. If not for his uncles and grandmother he would have never made it into college or become a football hall of famer.

Howie has it down.... Charlestown use to be tough, now it's filled with Yuppies. The tough parts of Boston have shifted to Rozzie, Dot, and Mattapan

Tough isn’t tough anymore. Kids shoot people now a days. No more punching it’s jumping knifing and murdering. Which a bunch of mental girls could do. That doesn’t make it tough

Milford High School, 1972, a few players from the JV and Varsity basketball teams were standing around at half court. Out of nowhere, and I never understood why he did this, Howie grabbed one of his teammates and pile drived him head first into the hardwood court. This is all I know or remember about Howie Long in high school.

Went to Milford high school with my uncle who was one of his best friends. When he made it to the nfl he snubbed his best friends & teammates at a game they went to. Without them helping him from failing high school he wouldn’t of made it into college.
