The big man's voice is as real as a heart attack. He wrestles and tussles and wrangles the words, till he leaves you spent from his efforts! Accept no substitute. He's the real deal, Jack!

Lyrics I have a little red rooster Too lazy to crow for day I have a little red rooster Too lazy to crow for day Keep everything in the barnyard Upset in every way Oh, the dogs begin to bark and the Hound begin to howl Oh, the dogs begin to bark Hound begin to howl Oh, watch out, strange-kin people 'cause the Little red rooster is on the prowl If you see my little red rooster Please drag him home If you see my little red rooster Please drag him home There's been no peace in the barnyard Since the little red rooster been gone - ... thank you for sharing , beats the stones hands down :-)

+Colin Harper-Summerson certainly the Wolf's voice is fantastic, but I think the accompaniment is a little slow and draggy compared to the Stones faster version.
@roguetrooper98716 жыл бұрын
He does a great version with the Stones (no Mick singing) you should check it out if you haven't heard it already.

I like the original blues recordings because they're so quirky, earthy, but I must admit I prefer the remakes by the Rolling Stones, Doors, and Yardbirds just because they sound like rock-and-roll.
