0:30 sec. to set up & 5:30 to pack up. Still quicker than alternatives!

Looks large in the bag mate, have any other photos of it on the truck? or is it in any of your videos?

Jacob Raftery hey bud. Yeah the bag is pretty big but it’s one of the smaller bags for this type of awning. I’ve got a more in-depth video here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHbFoH2tgJWmotU

Have you seen the 6 arm? Is it worth looking at for a 200?
@Australian4x4Adventures6 жыл бұрын
+Ian Moore I have seen the 6 arm online but not in person. It was still in development when I got my 270 swing awn. I’d want to see one up close before saying they are worth it or not. But they do look good from what I’ve seen and I know howling moons quilting is very good across all there products.

@@Australian4x4Adventures I was looking at the 6 arm, but its just too much weight (32kg) and too big for a 4x4. Its suited for a camper. Got the 4 arm in silver, love it to bits albeit a serious dent in the pocket....

Looks good how much?

gpsgrader Awning by itself was $1200 from memory. And the full wall kit was another $600. It’s the best awning on the market in my opinion. Most of the other 270 free standing awning only have a 2m reach. This ones 2.4. That extra 400mm makes a massive difference when setting swags up under it.

Hi there. Thanks for the vid and I do agree they are the best on the market. I'm about to invest in one. Tossing up between the 6 and 4 arm. Quick question. Is yours the 2.4m arms? Have you had it out in windy conditions, obviously with legs down, and how did you find it? Do you think the 4 arm provides enough cover. Thanks again Mick

Hey buddy. Yes mines the 2.4 m arms. Personally I wouldn’t use it without the legs down because I’m fairly tall and it drops enough that it’s too short under it. So I use the legs to gain the head height. They are fairly strong but I wouldn’t trust them in high winds. I’ve looked at the 6 arms awning and the extra space seems nice but they are shorter arms overall arnt they? ( 2m arms)

@@Australian4x4Adventures yeah that's what I'm thinking about the 6 arm. Probably not as much usable space. Also considering the walls can only come straight down and not angled away from awning, the 2.4 would be best. Do you find the 2.4 four arm provides enough cover? And how good are the walls in keeping weather out? Thanks again
