I did the 27 falls adventure in January 2019. The hike uphill left me hot and tired, then the jump into the cold water was a shock to my system for sure. It did take me a few seconds to remember hot to breathe again. The murky water was challenging to see where was save to put my feet as I waded along the shallower areas. I'm glad I did it, but once was enough for me.

Good job on the video! Enjoyed the dialogue and the music. We visited the DR in 2018 on Princess, but I wasn't aware of the port amenities with a lazy river and water park. Who doesn't like FREE??? We spent the day at an all-inclusive resort and had a great time. The 27 Falls excursion reminded me of Watkins Glenn, NY

My wife & I came back from this Carnival "Freedom" cruise, 03/26/22 & loved the whole cruise, including Amber Cove & Ocean World! That park is well worth the $49.95 admission charge, but were told that "waterfall" tour was somewhat scary! Grand Turk was also good, but aren't there long enough! Half-Moon Cay was great, but surprised they don't have a dock!

There isn’t much to do at grand turk…it’s such a small island. We ended up doing two excursions which were over within an hour and then lounged at the beach the rest of the day. It’s funny because the comedian at the punchliner the night before warned us how there isn’t much to do at GT and we all thought he was joking 🤣💔

Went on a catamaran to the reefs.. loved the experience!!! Until I went into afib on the ride back to the shore. I battled it for 13 hours until it quit. Didn't want to get put in the hospital there so we hurried back to the ship and waited until we left the port to go to the dr on board. $500 later and with no results I could only lay in my cabin until it subsided. The rest of the trip was fine though

Biggest negative with Amber Cove is there is no beach, gotta leave the port area! Also your ship card doesn't work in Amber Cove port, you gotta bring a CC or cash! The pool which is usually full is shallow, like a splash pool! The port is clean, and safe, but the negatives are tough! Comparing this to other Carnival ports like Half Moon Cay or Grand Turk, Amber Cove just doesn't compare! When we visit we usually head out of port to a beach west of the port as there are several small day beach places offering food, drnks, and showers for cash, CC!

I would love them to try to accomplish the same video with the same locations and look into the mirror and see if they could get almost 100k views. It would never happen, but it is easy to be critical. Anyone can do this. But that is life, so many negative people these days vs thanks for flying down, taking a cruise ship, filming your experience, editing the video, loading the video, etc. Forget the costs and the time to the creators, it is also free video for the anyone to watch. It is just easier to thanks for your feedback and ignore people like this. Luckily we get so much great feedback, it helps you ignore others. Just visited Amber Cove last week and did the waterfall excursion. NOTE: The guides said since we booked through Carnival we could NOT JUMP into the water, we could only use the slides. They said the other cruise lines don't have this restriction. It was fun nonetheless, and the water was FREEZING. Also, your woman is absolutely hotter than hell.

Do all the slides have ladders to use if one person in your party doesn’t want to do them or jump.

@@CUTravel1st As I recall there are alternate ways, a lot of them are not really high and you don't "jump", but rather slide down. There were old people and kids doing it so it's pretty safe.
