I love that you made your loom out of cardboard. I have seen wooden looms with the metal rods on the side, that they say is a must or the project will fail. You have proven them wrong. Very unique and cheap, my favorite things. Thank you!

The metal rods would certainly make things easier (esp. to make the weaving very tight) but it seems someone who's paying attention to the tension of their weave would be able to keep it from bowing.

Very interested in the woven sheets(?) rug using a cardboard loom. I'm new to weaving (self-teaching with books and KZbin videos. You have so many other crafts that you must enjoy too due to the various types of crafts. I will be using old clothing, scraps, and T-shirt materials Eventually I will have my son to build a couple of different sizes looms.
