Love this stuff! I have done several of these rememberences in ceremonies using this format. The couple is always appreciative and it goes smoothly and is not something we linger over too long to bring the mood down. Cannot wait to see you face-to-face in November!

Mark! This and YOU, are brilliant! As we all acknowledge, the absence of a special loved one (for myriad of reasons) is critical and so relevant to the ceremony. Thank you for teaching us how to best present it -- and successfully, move on. Not to dwell on the sadness, just quietly celebrate and move to the JOY of the moment! You are such a genius when it comes to UNBORING weddings!

Thank you SO MUCH for this. I am officiating my very first wedding for my brother in law and his soon to be wife lost her mother and this is such a perfect respectful way to include her in the ceremony. You are amazing I pray you continue to make these videos you have helped me so much God bless you ❤

Thanks so much, Mark, for this review of Remembrance section of our Unboring!Wedding Course. The hardest one for me was a week before the wedding the bride lost her late-term pregnancy baby and wanted me to incorporate the remembrance into the ceremony so that everyone would know at the start. This is what I wrote with approval of the parents. The hardest thing I ever had to say at a wedding ceremony. "And before we continue, M and A wanted me to share these very special words with you, in remembrance and in celebration of their Baby Girl, K.A.M., who isn’t here with us today. An angel in heaven wrote down K.A.’s birth in the Book of Life. Then whispered, as she closed the book, “Too beautiful for Earth.” We asked God for a baby and, instead, he gave us an Angel. The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched, but are felt in the heart. Love you forever, Baby Girl. Love, Mom and Dad.
