I agree! In fact, a Helicopter is not the only death trap I worry about. Planes are another kind of death trap, too. Space Shuttles are also dangerous due to the Challenger explosion and the Columbia Shuttle crash.

Avoid the risk of a crash by never setting foot in a helicopter. Rode them quite a bit in the Navy but I was 19 and naive, seemed fun at the time. Too many things to go wrong. Most small helos have a belt driven system for the main and tail rotors, think about that. Your life is riding on a couple of fiber/rubber belts very much like the ones under the hood of your car.
