I remember watching an episode of Oprah and this lady survived being kidnapped by shouting out street names when she was on the phone with 911. Her captors didn't know she called 911 and she was naming landmarks around her and asking where she was being taken. Very smart lady.

Yes, I remember her. Very smart woman. Her husband played for the NFL at the time she was carjacked with their infant son. She was in the back seat of her car putting her son in his car seat when the carjacker jumped in the driver's seat and started driving. By her being in the backseat she was able to call 911 without the carjacker knowing and started asking where he was taking her and shouting out the names of roads as he drove pass those roads. Thank God she and her son survived that ordeal.

If he's aiming a gun near and close at you and infront of you, pretend you are very scared and pretending to go to the van. Just Move back very very slowly to the van, and when you are about to put your hands up Quickly dodge the gun and aiming it at him, This might kill him but he deserves it. And also it might shoot at your arm or shoulder so quickly move the gun left then up and then kick his legs or any body part that can be very hurtful to prevent him from punching you or something. Also you need to make it very unexpected.

Well if you ask me I'd say the best time to escape is before getting into the captor's vehicle...... The moment the captors grab me I would yell out so loudly that their ears would pop right out of their head. If I don't have the chance to yell ( I mean if they cover my mouth shut) I would step on their foot really hard and then I would use my nails to scratch them to death. And the best way to avoid getting kidnapped.... Is to go with a companion.
