How the ventilation piece gets cleaned? I don’t know if it comes off.

Open lid pull it off. Rinse with clean water. Put it back on.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you I don't believe you can set a temperature on this rice cooker you can however change the time if you don't think that time will work
