I'm pretty sure XV is the best channel on KZbin. Thanks Xavier for putting these together. I've been touring for 14 years and skiing for 25 and I learn something new every time I watch these.

Adding splitboard crampons for the approach and boot crampons for the final push starts cramping up that inside space... I often wish my 30l airbag was a 35... Spot on with the saucisson! Food of the (summit) gods!

After two years of condemning to that style of packing. It's great! I use snow shoes, but no ice axe/abc (sometimes crampons) due to my mountains specification (elevation max of 1100, and HUGE tree biotop) Helmet attachment is godlike! No dangling, no snow inside, no lost space. BUT It works great in summer with mountaiboarding. I used to strap poles outside, so I catched every branch. Bought dedicated ones and it's the best ride improvement I did :D

Great video again! If you run out of ideas someday - let us know about your pro model splitboarding boots. I would be very interested if you do any special boot fitting, like heatmolding, aftermarket insoles etc.

I pack 25ft of 750 paracord. good for pulling skiers out of creek beds, tree wells, and crevasses. also good for making an emergency BC sled or hitching a ride on snowmobiles and trucks. P.S. Sashimi Split?

Sounds like you are a great to go riding with. No Sashimi split for the moment, but there could be potential... Cheers Xv

Which brand bottle are those? I've seen quite a few foldable ones, but the quality didn't seem that great, this looks a lot better. Still doubting to do bottles or drinking system.

Hey Mirna, They are Hydra Pack, I like the fact that they have a solid top and bottom and so when you pack them away they are protected from those crampon spikes and other such things! XV

Hello Xavier and hello guys! What do you use for your electronic devices when its -15 degrees C outside and you want to save them for battery life? Thanks a lot!

The best is to put them into your jacket. I also put batteries ( ex drones) in my down jacket wrapped in my back with a plastic bottle of hot water. Xv
